I'm Mike Nopper, an independent project and production specialist working across custom furniture, millwork and product development.

My work sits at the intersection of design, engineering and manufacturing — helping teams translate ambitious concepts into well-executed finished work.

BACKGROUND

From design to manufacturing.

My background spans design, product development, digital fabrication and furniture manufacturing. I've worked both behind the computer and on the factory floor, developing an understanding of what it takes to move a project from an initial concept through engineering, production and installation.

Over the years, I've managed fabrication teams, developed CNC manufacturing operations, coordinated international production, and delivered complex custom furniture packages for hospitality and residential projects.

That experience has given me a practical understanding of the decisions that shape a project: how something is designed, how it can be built, what it will cost, and what needs to happen to get it delivered.

HOW I WORK

Independent by design. Connected by experience.

Today, I work independently with FF&E procurement firms, interior designers, and product teams that need additional technical and execution capacity.

Based between Toronto and Central America, I bring experience working with manufacturers and suppliers across the region, alongside an understanding of the expectations of North American clients and design teams.

I don't represent a single manufacturer or operate as a traditional sourcing agent. My role is to help projects move forward — coordinating the people, technical details and production decisions that turn design intent into delivered work.
